1. What works will I be able to see at the Greco exhibition?
A selection of 25 of El Greco’s greatest paintings will be on display, including arguably two of his most famous paintings: El caballero de la mano en el pecho and Vista de Toledo. There will also be more than 70 modern works of art on display, from indisputably incredible artists such as Pablo Picasso, Édouard Manet and Paul Cézanne.

The exhibition is split into sections, to reveal the amazing influence El Greco had on art. Sections include Picasso and Cubism and The modernisation of painting from Manet to Cézanne. El Greco’s work was particularly influential on Picasso, and this exhibition will allow you to truly see this connection. You can make direct comparisons of the artists´ artwork, as their paintings are displayed side by side. You will undoubtedly be impressed.
2. How much does the El Greco exhibition cost and how can I get tickets?
If you are a under 18, or a student under 25, you can enter the museum free of charge and view the exhibition! The standard ticket price to enter the Prado museum and see the El Greco exhibition is 14€. You can buy tickets online, on the phone, or on the door.
